TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Florida State University (FSU) students joined together to support a significant cause.
Relay For Life At FSU held their 12-hour celebration Saturday, highlighting the funds they raised for the American Cancer Society to support cancer research and assist current patients. The group also pushed for people to continue to give, to help those in need.
Development Director Raegan Tausz said cancer affects so many, even her own loved ones, and that’s why this event matters so much.
At last check, organizers said the group surpassed their 200 thousand dollar goal and totaled $211,187.44
