The southbound outside lane at 1876 Capital Circle Northeast was closed on Wednesday for the water main leak repair, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
The lane was reopened by Thursday morning.
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection said in a report that the leak released about 12,000 gallons of wastewater, “which flowed into two separate stormwater catch basins along CCNE, where crews were able to make successful recovery.”
The Florida DEP said the area has been cleaned, disinfected, and deodorized and there was no impact on surface waters.
