JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – One man has been arrested and police continue to search for another after a Jacksonville convenience store was held up.
The Murphy Express on North Marine Boulevard was robbed around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police say two men walked into the store, showed a gun, and then stole items from the business.
Officers say they quickly identified the two as Marlon Veney, Jr. and Shiran Mattocks.
Veney was caught earlier today with the help of the SBI’s criminal apprehension team, and Onslow County deputies at a home on Solomon Drive.
