JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The Jacksonville Police Department is seeking an armed robbery suspect in connection with an incident that took place on April 12.

According to the Jacksonville Police Department, on April 12, 2026, two suspects armed with a gun robbed the Murphy Express store on N. Marine Blvd in Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Police Department quickly identified the suspects and issued warrants for Marlon Veney Jr. and Shiran Mattocks.

Veney Jr. was arrested on April 14, 2026, but Mattocks is still at large and wanted for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Felony Conspiracy.

The Jacksonville Police Department is seeking information on Mattocks’ whereabouts.
