KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A Kansas City church network has launched an emergency relief fund for tornado victims in Ottawa and Hillsdale.
United in Crisis Kansas City says survivors face immediate and urgent needs as they begin the recovery and rebuilding process.
The organization notes that it is raising funds to provide direct financial assistance to those most impacted, with donations prioritized for individuals and families facing the greatest need.

“This is a moment for the church and our community to come together,” a spokesperson said. “We are committed to standing alongside all the survivors and helping them navigate this incredibly difficult time.”
Two tornadoes left widespread damage to homes and businesses across both communities.
United in Crisis says it is working alongside local churches and volunteers to provide shelter support, essential resources and hands-on care.

Community members, local organizations and businesses are encouraged to contribute.
The organization indicates that donations will go directly to those with the most significant needs, supporting both immediate relief and long-term recovery.
