According to OPD, investigators determined the shooting stemmed from a “gang-related dispute.”During this dispute, multiple individuals fired a weapon before fleeing the scene.What officers estimated to be one minute later, a suspect returned to the restaurant and fired a weapon into a crowd that had gathered to assist an injured victim.Officers believe that round of gunfire struck the victim in the head.Investigators determined that the victim was a known gang member involved in the dispute, identifying them as an opposing gang member to the shooter, OPD said.The suspect, Doggett, was arrested on charges of attempted first-degree murder with a firearm.It’s unclear what the argument was about, but it did leave one of the four victims with life-threatening injuries. During a prayer vigil held outside the restaurant, a local pastor called for the community to support kids.Doggett is held in the Orange County Jail on no bond.
