PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A genre-bending band from the Florida Panhandle played a free show on Pensacola Beach.
Mobile County woman makes The Voice finals
According to a news release, the Whitesands Panhandle Band performed at Bands on the Beach on Tuesday, April 14.
The band, founded in 1979, is known for its mix of bluegrass, country, and rockabilly influences. Tim Baldwin is the lead singer and electric guitarist. Founding member Brad Hanssen also sings and plays the electric guitar, the fiddle, and the banjo.
The other founding member, Mike Feldman, plays the harmonica while Grant Newton adds vocals and plays the acoustic guitar. Ace Wilson brings the funk as the band’s bassist.

Bands on the Beach is a free concert series put on by the Santa Rosa Island Authority, held every Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
