Waymo vehicles in Orlando currently do not operate on freeways, and that means no Interstate 4 and no access to the airport, at least for now.
The vehicles also do not currently travel on the east side of I-4 in downtown Orlando.
Over in Miami, highway access is rolling out with the launch to all residents and visitors.
“Whether you’re commuting from Coral Gables to Wynwood or heading to Miami Beach, highway driving can allow for faster routes across the city,” Waymo said in a blog post on Wednesday. “To be among the first to have access to highways in Miami, let us know directly in the app.”
Those who want to take a ride must download the Waymo app.
