Jacksonville hotels host 7th annual trick-or-treat event

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. (WICS) — A special trick-or-treating event is set to return for its seventh year in Jacksonville, taking place from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30.

Sponsored by the Jacksonville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, the event invites families to visit participating lodging properties for a spooky and delicious treat.

Each location will offer different goodies, and locally designed Jacksonville Activity Books will be available at one of the locations in limited quantities.

Participating hotels include Knights Inn at 1111 East Morton Ave., Super 8 at 1003 West Morton Ave., Best Western at 1709 West Morton Ave., and Hampton Inn at 1725 West Morton Ave.
