Cape Coral will reopen Jaycee Park on April 30 following a major renovation, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for May 8. The waterfront park at 4215 SE 20th Place was redesigned with improved accessibility and new amenities, including a riverfront boardwalk, upgraded pathways, native landscaping and a 5,000-square-foot splash pad. Additional features include an inclusive playground, shaded picnic areas, sports courts and a bandshell for performances. A food truck court is planned. The project transforms the park into a more family-friendly destination addressing aging infrastructure and pedestrian access.Â
