The grande dame of the Orlando experimental underground returns at last this weekend. After a few years of steady and stunning creative activity in Orlando — a busy live calendar, releasing the jaw-dropping mini-album 222 through local label Xylene, and helping run the short-lived but important Castle Smoke venue — Haize left the City Beautiful for a time, needing a change of pace.
Now she’s back and signaling that return with (appropriately) a show at the Nook on Robinson, site of many early performances. Accompanying her on the night are Honeybeamz, Xybagoth and Aboyizagun. Your presence is requested.
8 p.m. Saturday, April 18, The Nook on Robinson, 2432 Robinson St., facebook.com/thenookonrobinson, $15.
