Tampa police are searching for three suspects who ran away after a shooting Thursday afternoon that left two men injured.
Officers said this happened around 1:40 p.m. in the area of Machado Street, when initially they were told one person had been shot.
In the middle of driving to the scene, police received an update that a second person was shot.
When TPD arrived, investigators found two men with gunshot wounds and provided first aid until Tampa Fire Rescue transported the pair to a nearby hospital.

Detectives said three man were seen running from where the shooting took place, before possibly taking off in a vehicle.
Police are currently searching for the suspects and are gathering evidence and witness statements to determine what led to the shooting.
