ORLANDO, Fla. –The Clemson Tigers return to the water this weekend at the Orlando Invite, with racing set to begin Friday morning at 8:20 a.m. in the I Eight Heat 1. Clemson will also compete at 9:00 a.m. in the II Eight Heat 1, 9:40 a.m. in the I Four Heat 1 and 10:40 a.m. in the II Four Heat 2. The regatta continues through Saturday, marking the team’s second event of the 2026 spring season.
Clemson enters the weekend coming off a strong showing at the Rocky Top Invite, where the Tigers recorded multiple podium finishes against a nationally competitive field. The Varsity Eight highlighted the weekend with a second-place finish in the 1V8 Final 2, while Clemson also added top-three finishes in the Second Varsity Eight and multiple varsity four events.
The Orlando Invite presents another opportunity for Clemson to compete against high-level competition and continue to develop race consistency across all boats. Racing will begin Friday and conclude Saturday as the Tigers look to build on their early-season progress.
Following this weekend, Clemson will travel to the Lake Wheeler Invitational before turning its attention to postseason competition, including the ACC Championships and NCAA Championships.
