“We’ve taken everything I’ve learned over decades in this business and turned it into a system that delivers incredible experiences,” says founder Jon Taffer of his new full-service pub concept, Taffer’s Tavern.

Taffer’s Tavern, the full-service pub franchise founded by hospitality expert and Bar Rescue host Jon Taffer, has opened its first location in Orlando, Florida. The site, operated by Nilesh Patel, is located on International Drive among hotels, convention centres and attractions.
The new tavern features a refreshed menu with spirit-infused sauces and a craft cocktail programme designed to attract both locals and tourists.
“Taffer’s Tavern is more than a bar. It’s a blueprint for the future of hospitality,” said Taffer. “We’ve taken everything I’ve learned over decades in this business and turned it into a system that delivers incredible experiences and real results. Orlando is where that vision comes to life.”
A modern take on the old-world tavern
The brand aims to blend traditional pub charm with contemporary operations. Its franchise model combines elevated comfort food, immersive bar experiences and efficient systems to enhance profitability and guest experience.
The Orlando opening signals the next phase in Taffer’s Tavern’s evolution, showcasing its “fast-craft” cocktail programme, spirit-forward dishes and focus on authentic social energy at the bar. Each location is designed to foster a sense of community while maintaining operational simplicity.
Expansion strategy
Following successful openings in Atlanta and Orlando, Taffer’s Tavern is now eyeing additional franchise opportunities in entertainment-focused markets such as Austin, Baltimore, Dallas-Fort Worth, New York City, Philadelphia and Portland.
The franchise programme targets experienced hospitality operators looking for a scalable entry into the high-margin bar segment. Craveworthy Brands’ shared services platform provides franchise partners with comprehensive support across real estate, training, operations and marketing.
This expansion builds on the joint venture between Taffer’s Tavern and Craveworthy Brands, which combines Taffer’s hospitality experience with Craveworthy’s expertise in growing multi-concept restaurant systems.
“Jon has built a concept where every detail, from the bar design to the back-of-house systems, serves the guest experience first,” said Gregg Majewski, CEO and founder of Craveworthy Brands. “Together, we’re creating more than a scalable franchise model in the space; we’re setting a new standard for how an efficient bar should feel and look.”
Market outlook
According to IBISWorld, the US bar and tavern industry surpassed US$39 billion in 2025, driven by consumer demand for experience-led dining concepts that combine social engagement with quality food and drink. Taffer’s Tavern aims to capitalise on that trend by positioning itself at the intersection of innovation, efficiency and guest experience.
