ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA)— A fight between two people at a gas station left one shot, the St. Petersburg Police Department said.

Officers responded around 1 a.m. to the parking lot of a Mobil gas station at 1750 34th Street North regarding a person shot.

According to SPPD, Anthony Oliver, 41, and DeAndre Randolph, 29, were in a verbal altercation when Randolph hit Oliver in the head with a cinder block.

After being hit in the head, Oliver used a firearm and shot at Randolph.

Both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital.

According to officers, Randolph was arrested for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Oliver was arrested and charged with a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.
