A 35-year-old FedEx employee was fatally shot Thursday night at a FedEx shipping center on Blue Heron Boulevard in Riviera Beach, and police have charged a suspect with first-degree premeditated murder.The call about the shooting came in just after 9 p.m. When officers arrived, they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.He later died at the hospital.Police have not released his name. A few hours later, investigators tracked the suspect to a Sunoco station on 45th Street in West Palm Beach.”There, they detained the suspect. They brought him into the police department, and ultimately, he was taken to the Palm Beach County Main Detention Center, where he was charged with one count of first-degree premeditated murder,” said Mike Jachles of Riviera Beach police.Police identified the suspect as Tyler Vidro, 24, of Boynton Beach.Detectives said he was not a FedEx employee.”They’re trying to determine what, if any, relationship there was with the victim and the suspect, what led up to the shooting, the circumstances surrounding it. That’s all part of the active investigation,” Jachles said. Vidro is currently being held at the Palm Beach County Jail without bond and is expected to make his first appearance before a judge Saturday morning. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time. There is no higher priority for FedEx than the safety of team members. A 35-year-old FedEx employee was fatally shot Thursday night at a FedEx shipping center on Blue Heron Boulevard in Riviera Beach, and police have charged a suspect with first-degree premeditated murder.
The call about the shooting came in just after 9 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
He later died at the hospital.

A few hours later, investigators tracked the suspect to a Sunoco station on 45th Street in West Palm Beach.
