As of Friday night, one of the men is in critical condition at the hospital and the other is listed as “stable.”

TAMPA, Fla. — Two men have been hospitalized after a shooting in Tampa on Friday night. 

Officers responded to the shooting just after 8 p.m. on North Marion Street, where they found the two men with gunshot wounds. One of them is in critical condition at the hospital, and police say the other one is listed as “stable.”

Based on preliminary information, investigators say there was an argument that led up to the shooting. 

Police say they’ve detained a person of interest and are working to determine their involvement. 

An investigation is ongoing.
