FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — Firefighters battled a sailboat fire at Riverside Marina in Fort Pierce on Saturday, quickly containing the blaze with no reported injuries.
Crews with the St. Lucie County Fire District say they responded to reports of a vessel fire at the marina at 11:40 a.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters located a dry-docked 30-foot sailboat engulfed in flames.

The ongoing burn triggered an aggressive attack, with crews managing to bring the fire under control.
Luckily, crews say the fire was contained to the sailboat and did not do any damage to nearby vessels or structures.
No injuries were reported, and the source of the fire remains under investigation.
