FORT PIERCE — On April 18, firefighters responded to a sailboat engulfed in flames at the Riverside Marina in Fort Pierce.
St. Lucie County Fire District crews responded to the fire at 11:40 a.m.
According to the St. Lucie County Fire District, crews found a 30-foot sailboat on a dry dock on actively burning. Firefighters then brought the fire under control.
No nearby vessels or structures were affected. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to SLCFD.
