GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Leaders of the Humane Society of North Central Florida are asking for fosters shortly after a brush fire started near their shelter.
In a social media post, officials are asking the public to temporarily foster animals from their shelter at 4205 NW 6th Street in Gainesville.
Their shelter is located a few streets away from a 25 to 30-acre wildfire burning in northern Gainesville.
