Universal Volcano Bay will temporarily close beginning Oct. 26, 2026, and will reopen on or before March 24, 2027 for an extended refurbishment, as previously announced. Now, as we’re officially a year out from the closing date, Universal Orlando has updated its annual pass options.

The 3-park annual pass (AP) — granting admission to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay — is no longer available for purchase or renewal for the time being. (As a reminder, there is still no annual pass option which includes Universal Epic Universe, the resort’s newest theme park.) Seeing as an annual pass with Volcano Bay admission would not be good for the duration of a full year, Universal discontinued the 3-park AP. There is no singular AP option that grants admission to only Volcano Bay.

Multi-day, multi-park ticket packages that include Volcano Bay as an option will continue to be available, just not as part of an annual pass.

(Universal also says Volcano Bay will be closed seasonally select dates between now and February 2026; consult the Universal Orlando park hours calendar for dates during your trip.)
