Tampa police investigating after woman found dead near South Dale Mabry

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Police Department said it is investigating after a woman was found dead near South Dale Mabry on Sunday.

Officers responded to the 6400-block of South Dale Mabry, a commercial area a few miles outside of MacDill AFB, shortly before 10:45 a.m.

Someone reported an unresponsive person in the area, and responding officers arrived to find the body of an adult woman.

TPD did not release any additional information about whether the woman had any obvious injuries, but said they are investigating the circumstances around her death.
