10:48 A.M. TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – The Hillsborough County Sheriff has announced that the missing toddler, Jaylen Johnson, has been located.
Details have not been released; however, deputies said Jaylen and the family dog have been located and are safe.
Deputies said 23-month-old Jaylen Johnson was last seen around 11 p.m. Monday near the 6900 block of Silver Run Drive in Tampa.(Hillsborough County Sheriff)
“This child’s safety and well-being were our utmost priority from the moment we received the call,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “We spared no resource in our efforts, from patrol deputies and the dive team to our Aviation Unit, K-9 teams, drone operators, and cadets. We are thankful this search has a happy ending and that Jaylen is safe.”

Jaylen was wearing gray-and-white, long-sleeved dinosaur pajamas.

Detectives believe Jaylen went outside with the family dog, a red-nosed pit bull, before disappearing.
