The Jacksonville Jaguars are getting ready for the biggest event of the offseason, the 2026 NFL Draft, while also starting a tune up ahead of the 2026 season for players already on the team.
The Jaguars, along with the majority of the NFL, will begin offseason programs this week.

Jacksonville’s first day of Phase One of the NFL offseason workout program began on Monday, April 20. The day marks the first this year time all players and coaches of this year’s team will have an opportunity to meet each other and understand the team’s early goals as the offseason continues.

Jaguars 2026 NFL Draft guide: Everything you need to know
Offseason workouts are primarily voluntary, meaning players are under no obligation to attend meetings or weight lifting sessions during the early portion or on-field football work during the latter portion with some exceptions.

OTA Offseason Workouts: May 26, May 28-29, June 1-2, June 4, June 15-17
Mandatory Minicamp: June 9-11
What is Phase One of the NFL offseason program?
Phase One of the NFL offseason program consists of meetings, strength and conditioning and physical rehab only. The NFL-NFLPA collective bargaining agreement states that no on-field activities may occur. This phase takes place over the first two weeks of the offseason workout program.
What is Phase Two of the NFL offseason program?
Phase Two of the NFL offseason program consists of on-field individual and group instruction, drills, perfect play drills and same-side offense vs. offense or defense vs. defense at walk-through pace only. No live contract or team drills are allowed. This phase takes place over the next three weeks from Weeks 3-5.

What is Phase Three of the NFL offseason program?
Phase Three of the NFL offseason program is up to 10 days of Organized Team Activities from Weeks 6-9. No live contact is allowed, but this is when teams are allowed to conduct 7-on-7, 9-on-9 and 11-on-11 drills.
