PORT ST. LUCIE ── Jeremiah’s Italian Ice celebrated the grand opening of its location at 1898 South Gatlin Boulevard in the Jetson Plaza on April 18.

The celebration, which included a day of frozen treats and sweet deals, coincides with the brand’s annual National Jelati Day, making it the perfect moment for locals to experience Jeremiah’s signature layered dessert.

A Jelati is a one-of-a-kind layered combination of Jeremiah’s Italian Ice and creamy soft ice cream. The result is a smooth, refreshing dessert that blends bold flavors with a rich, creamy finish, creating a texture and taste experience guests can’t get anywhere else.

The Jelati is Jeremiah’s most popular treat and the centerpiece of the nationwide celebration.

Since its soft opening in November, the new Port St. Lucie location has quickly become a go-to spot for locals and snowbirds.

“We’ve been so grateful for the warm welcome from the Port St. Lucie community over the past few months,” said Diane Prokop, who co-owns the shop with her husband, Frank. The pair also own the Jeremiah’s in Vero Beach.

“This grand opening was our chance to celebrate with everyone and officially introduce Jeremiah’s in a big way.”

The 1,200-square-foot shop features walk-up windows, indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your treats. Guests can choose from 24 flavors of Italian ice, rich soft ice cream, and a variety of specialty treats.

Jeremiah’s Italian Ice of Port St. Lucie is open noon to 10 p.m., Sundays through Thursdays and noon to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

The franchise has more than 175 locations throughout Florida, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Nevada, Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas.
