The FAA is investigating after a pilot attempted to make an emergency landing in a small plane in Martin County on Saturday night.
The pilot escaped injury after the plane went down in the Hungryland Preserve near Jupiter.
The Sheriff’s office shared a photo on Facebook showing the small plane on its roof.
The pilot says the aircraft crashed in the preserve but indicated he was not hurt. He was the only person on board.
