What is the Tampa Pig Jig?
The Tampa Pig Jig is an annual event filled with live music, food, drinks and a BBQ competition all meant to raise money in support of families facing serious medical challenges.
The event has raised over $15 million as NephCure‘s top annual contributor and helped advance more than 60 clinical trials for rare, protein-spilling kidney diseases, including FSGS (Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis) and Nephrotic Syndrome.
“Whether it’s supporting cutting-edge research, easing the burden of treatment costs, or connecting families to vital resources — we are here to make a difference,” The Tampa Pig Jig website says.
