Upstairs Boutique has been a favorite of the I Love the Burg for just over four years now, and this year, the dreamy gift shop is turning into St. Pete’s go-to spot for Mother’s Day shopping. Upstairs Boutique is located, as the name suggests, upstairs from Rollin’ Oats at 2842 MLK St N.
We’ve always recommended the locally-run store for any gift shopping occasion, and long-time readers have seen it pop up on just about every related list we’ve put together over the years. They already would have been top of the list for Mother’s Day gift hunting without anything extra, but this year, Upstairs Boutique is going all out as we celebrate the moms in our lives.
On Saturday, May 2 – eight days before the big holiday – the gift store is hosting a Mother’s Day themed Sip-and-Shop all afternoon. The entire store will be marked 10% off the price on the tag, with complimentary sparkling wine to help fuel your shopping experience.
Every purchase on May 2nd comes with a free gift, while supplies last, and every purchase also enters you into a raffle to win a spa-themed Mother’s Day gift basket. It’s up to you whether you give that prize to mom or quietly keep it for yourself. We won’t judge either way.
Meanwhile, Upstairs Boutique will also have pre-made Mother’s Day gift baskets available for purchase to beef up that Mom’s Day present experience. Baskets come loaded up with goodies for mom including some items like a scented candle, specialty bath sponge, chocolate bar, and much more. Plus, there are different themes to choose from based on your mom’s vibe like spa, wine, or even cooking. It’s the ultimate way for mom to treat herself, and all you have to do is remember to bring it in from the car.
Upstairs Boutique offers elevated shopping in St. Pete
If you haven’t been before, let this be the excuse you needed to stop by. Upstairs Boutique opened its doors in November of 2021, announcing itself as a new spot for a unique selection of home goods, gifts and more. Offering an “elevated shopping experience,” the Upstairs Boutique is housed on the second floor above Rollin’ Oats Market and & Café and is operated by the same management as the store.
Open Monday-Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm, the shop showcases unique offerings ranging from candles, jewelry and handbags to household goods, self-care products, baby clothing and pet items. Inside the bright boutique, walls and shelves are packed with products from popular brands like Voluspa, Rifle Paper Co., Handed By Bags, Bella Tunno and Michel Design Works, among others.
Designed and curated by Rollin’ Oats Corporate Director Sarah Beck and Boutique Manager Heather Lind, Upstairs St. Pete has become a destination for those hosting and attending social gatherings.
Rollin’ Oats, of course, is a St. Pete staple that has been serving the Tampa Bay area since 1994. The market and café offers health-minded food and products including nutritional supplements, clean body care, organic foods and produce, and healthy lifestyle supplies.
