Affordable medical and wellness care has arrived to the Village of Key Biscayne.
Dr. GoodPrice, led by its founder and CEO Yessica González, is launching a grand opening at 5 p.m., on Wednesday, March 11, at its new location at 57 Harbor Dr.
Gonzalez, a Key Biscayne resident, said she decided to expand to the island because some residents, and the workforce, lack affordable healthcare insurance.
Dr. GoodPrice has previously opened several clinics in Doral, Little Havana and Westchester.
Gonzalez said Key Biscayne has a high population of people from Latin America who probably have not seen a doctor since they migrated to the U.S., because they can’t afford healthcare insurance to get proper medical care and treatment. This is especially true for those who have been diagnosed with high blood pressure, diabetes and other health issues
“Some people, whether they live or work in Key Biscayne, are from Latin America and don’t have medical insurance,” Gonzalez said. “It was a big opportunity to serve those patients.”

Her clinics in the other locations see about 20 patients per day during a five-week period. Gonzalez expects more patients on Key Biscayne since the demand for affordable healthcare is higher.
The clinic serves families, adults of all ages and children over two years old, with a patient-first model designed to remove traditional barriers to care.
The clinic also focuses on accessible, transparent, upfront pricing for uninsured patients, offering services like consultation labs and prescription medication.
Gonzalez said for $80- $100, her clinic offers primary care, diagnostic tests, consultation, prescription medication and a wellness program to help patients stay healthy.
As a chain of medical and wellness clinics, Dr. GoodPrice attends primary care needs, including acute and chronic condition management, preventive and basic urgent care, sexual and reproductive health services and medical forms, among others.
Gonzalez said the clinic operates as a one-stop shop: from medical services like medical consultations, lab testing, medications, and medically supervised weight-management programs to wellness services like vitamin shots and infusions to support energy, immunity and overall well-being.
She said nurse practitioners on staff can perform medical tests to determine if the clinic needs to send them to specialists for proper diagnosis.
The clinic allows patients to address both immediate health needs and long-term wellness in one convenient setting.
“Dr. GoodPrice is bringing the health and wellness center to contribute to the health of the Key Biscayne community by simplifying access to medical and wellness care,” Gonzalez said.
Gonzalez, who studied economics in Mexico and earned an MBA from Stanford University, said while working in the pharmaceutical industry and with doctors, she discovered a lot of people worldwide weren’t insured.
She wanted to help those who couldn’t afford healthcare insurance and started working with non-profit organizations to help close the gap.
When she moved to Miami, she launched Dr. GoodPrice.
She said the clinic’s care model is built on a simple promise: Patients don’t need any appointments to visit and no insurance.
Patients can walk in when they need care, experience short wait times, avoid unnecessary paperwork and rely on clear, transparent pricing designed with real budgets in mind.
All this while receiving humane care from a group of professional and highly qualified practitioners that prioritize “care like family” for our patients.
“At Dr. GoodPrice we are humanizing healthcare and making it accessible for everyone, especially those without insurance or facing high costs. We believe healthcare should be built around people, not systems,” said González.
