A red flag warning is in effect across Central Florida from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The danger is thanks to low humidity and gusty northeast winds that will produce a high fire danger across portions of east Central Florida.
Those portions include Lake, Seminole, Orange, Osceola, Okeechobee and inland Volusia counties, according to NWS Melbourne.
Tuesday will be sunny and windy, with a high near 81 degrees and wind blowing 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Boating conditions range from poor to hazardous across the local Atlantic.
