Man injured after shooting at Winter Park bar; suspect at large, deputies say
I’LL SEE YOU GUYS IN JUST A COUPLE MINUTES. ALL RIGHT, ERIC, LET’S GET TO THAT BREAKING NEWS THAT’S UNFOLDING RIGHT NOW IN ORANGE COUNTY. DEPUTIES ARE INVESTIGATING A POSSIBLE SHOOTING INSIDE A BAR ON ALOMA AVENUE. THIS ALL HAPPENED AROUND 3:00 THIS MORNING. AND WESH 2’S BOB HAZEN IS LIVE THERE. BOB. YOU JUST TALKED TO A MAN WHO SAYS HE WAS INSIDE THE BAR AT THE TIME. HE SAID THAT A SECURITY GUARD TRIED TO GET A GUY OUT OF THE BUILDING. AND THEN OUT IN THE PARKING LOT IS WHEN THE GUNFIRE HAPPENED. AND I WANT TO SHOW YOU WHERE WE ARE. EXACTLY. THIS IS THE SHOPPING STRIP ALONG ALOMA AVENUE AT PALMETTO AVENUE. THIS IS THE GOLDENROD SECTION OF ORANGE COUNTY, AND IT LOOKS LIKE EVERYTHING WAS FOCUSED ON THIS TEQUILA LOUNGE HERE AT THE END OF THE SHOPPING STRIP. I WANT TO SHOW YOU SOME VIDEO FROM EARLIER THIS MORNING WHEN DEPUTIES WERE OUT HERE INVESTIGATING THIS APPARENT POSSIBLE SHOOTING THAT HAPPENED HERE. NOW WE’RE TALKING WE TALKED TO TWO PEOPLE WHO SAY THEY WERE WITNESSES TO THIS. AND AS WE SAID, THERE WAS SOME KIND OF INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED INSIDE THE LOUNGE. SECURITY WAS TRYING TO TAKE A MAN OUT, AND THEN GUNFIRE ERUPTED IN THE PARKING LOT. I WANT TO LET YOU HEAR FROM A MAN WHO SAYS HE WAS INSIDE THE BAR WHEN ALL THAT HAPPENED. I WAS INSIDE, AND THE SECURITY GUY WAS FIGHTING WITH SOMEBODY. AND THEN THERE WAS A SHOOTING. EVERYBODY GOT OUT. I WAS WITH MY MY FRIENDS FROM THE VILLAGES. WHEN I GOT OUT, I COULDN’T FIND MY FRIEND’S, YOU KNOW, BUT SOMEBODY WAS LAYING DOWN OVER THERE. AND THAT MAN SAYS THAT HE BELIEVES THE SECURITY OFFICER OR SECURITY GUARD RATHER, AND THAT PATRON WERE SHOOTING AT EACH OTHER. I CAN TELL YOU, OBVIOUSLY OUT HERE, THERE WAS A LOT OF SHOTS FIRED AND DAMAGE DONE TO THIS BUILDING BECAUSE THE WINDOWS TO THAT CLUB ARE ALL BOARDED UP RIGHT NOW WITH PLYWOOD, AFTER APPARENTLY GETTING SHATTERED BY SOME OF THOSE BULLETS AND ALL THE STUFF THAT HAPPENED HERE IN THESE EARLY MORNING HOURS, THIS ORANGE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE HASN’T CONFIRMED ANYTHING AT THIS POINT, SAYING WHETHER ANYONE WAS HURT IN THIS SHOOTING OR EVEN KILLED. THEY ALSO HAVEN’T CONFIRMED ANYTHING ABOUT A SUSPECT OR WHETHER THE SHOOTER IS STILL ON THE LOOSE. IN THIS PART OF THE COUNTY. WE ARE WORKING TO GET MORE INFORMATION FROM THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE ABOUT WHERE THEY STAND AS FAR AS THE SUSPECT IS CONCERNED, AND HOW BADLY ANY OF THESE POTENTIAL VICTIMS WERE HURT. AS WE GET THA

A man was hospitalized after a shooting was reported at a Winter Park bar early Monday morning, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.Deputies responded to Tequila Lounge on Aloma Avenue around 3 a.m. following reports of shots fired.When deputies arrived, they found an injured man in his 30s.
