Police searching for missing adult near body of water

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Port St. Lucie police are searching for a missing adult who they say may have wandered into a body of water.

They are searching the area and the waterway in the 700 block of Northeast Emerson Street, and the Dive Team is on the scene.

There is a large police presence in the area but police say there is no threat to the community.
