JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville University beach volleyball placed five student-athletes on the ASUN All-Conference teams, highlighted by Claire Mrukowski earning First Team All-ASUN honors, the conference announced Tuesday.

Jacksonville All-ASUN Selections:

Claire Mrukowski – First Team All-ASUN

Megan Hair – Second Team All-ASUN, All-Freshman Team

Katie Martinez – Second Team All-ASUN

Maddie Fiedler – All-Freshman Team

Mrukowski becomes the first Dolphin named to the First Team All-ASUN since 2016, when Mackenzie Swan and Cristina Finan earned the honor.

Mrukowski anchored the Dolphins’ top pairing throughout the season, finishing with 16 wins exclusively at the No. 1 position. She picked up key victories over nationally ranked Stetson and ASUN opponent EKU, while also helping Jacksonville secure its first win over FIU in program history. Her performance this season propelled her to fifth all-time in career wins at Jacksonville, while playing a pivotal role in the Dolphins setting a new program standard for regular season victories. A preseason All-ASUN selection, Mrukowski adds First Team honors to an already decorated career that includes All-Freshman Team recognition and a Second Team All-ASUN nod last season.

Megan Hair matched that production at the top of the lineup, also totaling 16 wins at the No. 1 pairing. The freshman recorded wins over nationally ranked Stetson and EKU and played a key role in the program’s historic win over FIU. Hair’s 16 victories tied the program record for most wins in a freshman season. She is the first Dolphin in program history to earn freshman all conference honors with an additional first or second team selection. With JU graduating just under fifty percent of their roster this year, Hair’s early career success promises a bright future for the Jacksonville beach volleyball program.

Martinez continued her standout senior campaign with 19 wins, the second-most in a single season in program history. Competing at the No. 5 pairing, she earned wins over four nationally ranked opponents—Stetson, North Florida, Boise State, and South Carolina—along with FGCU. Martinez climbed to third all-time in career wins at Jacksonville and became just the fourth Dolphin to surpass the 50-win mark, while also setting the program’s career wins record at the No. 5 position. Her impact on Dolphin beach and beyond will be etched in the history books.

Fiedler joined Hair on the All-Freshman Team after posting 16 wins, tying the program record for a freshman season. She secured victories over nationally ranked Boise State and North Florida, in addition to ASUN opponent FGCU. Alongside Martinez, Fiedler earned ASUN Pair of the Week honors following a 4-0 weekend at North Florida, and the duo set the program’s single-season wins record at the No. 5 pairing.

Fiedler and Hair are the seventh and eighth Dolphins to earn ASUN All-Freshman honors in program history, joining an elite list that includes teammate Claire Mrukowski, along with other legends such as Kelly Koop, Emily Laskelle and more. It is first time that two Dolphins have earned All-Freshman in the same season.

Kate Taylor and Morgan Perry also turned in strong campaigns for the Dolphins. Taylor recorded 15 wins, including victories over nationally ranked Boise State and FAU, and set the program’s career wins record at the No. 4 pairing. Perry finished with 18 wins while competing at the No. 3 and No. 4 positions, adding wins over nationally ranked opponents Boise State and FAU, and set the single-season program record for wins at the No. 4 pairing. The two are the third in program history to be featured as second team all conference, with the other being Jenna McNamara and Emily Kubisco in 2023, and Claire Mrukowski/Emily Kubisco in 2025.

Under the direction of head coach Dylan Hough, Jacksonville put together one of its most successful seasons in program history, totaling 15 regular season wins. The Dolphins also earned their first ASUN Pair of the Week honor since 2015 and saw multiple players etch their names into the program record book. The team looks to set the program win record (16) in the ASUN tournament on Wednesday, with the first game kicking off at noon against North Alabama, in Huntsville, Alabama.
