TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A homicide investigation was launched Tuesday after authorities said a man was shot to death in the parking lot of a Tampa business park.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said it was just before 2 p.m. when dispatchers received a 911 call from someone reporting shots being fired in the 5800 block of North 53rd Street.

Deputies arrived to find the deceased victim lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. The man has not yet been identified.

The investigation remained ongoing Tuesday afternoon, and no further information was immediately available.
