High pressure is here to stay through the rest of the week, enabling our warm and dry pattern to stick around with very low rain chances appearing in the extended forecast. Throughout this stretch the fire danger will be elevated without much meaningful rain despite any isolated showers.

It’s a big investment in preservation. Orange County is buying more than 350 acres of environmentally sensitive land in southwest Orange County, spending millions to create a protected wildlife corridor northwest of Disney World.
