ORLANDO, Fla. — Blue Man Group is one of the most successful and longest-running entertainment franchises in the world.
After 14 years at its Universal CityWalk home in Orlando, the drum-heavy show is now debuting in custom-made digs. The multi-sensory stage show features three bald performers (who never speak!) with their skin painted an electric blue.
The Blue “men” are “everyman” figures — curious, wise, and playful — who explore modern culture through rhythm and movement. Audience interaction is a huge part of the experience. (We warned you!)
Bhurin Sead is the Blue Man Group captain, and Spectrum News caught up with him during one of their final rehearsals at their new Orlando home. The venue is tucked behind the Orlando Eye at ICON Park. It was built from scratch.
“The show, for me, is about connection,” Bhurin said. “It’s how we relate to one another. You and I.” He added; “The show sort of becomes muscle memory and the most important thing is being present with people in the audience.”
Blue Man Group debuts May 1, 2026, at ICON Park. Parking is free. Here’s the official website for ticket info.
