Enzian Theater presents the Jim Hosking double-header you never knew you needed right before Halloween, pairing cult-fave grindhouse flick The Greasy Strangler with new postmodern rock pic Ebony & Ivory as one surrealist mini-marathon.

A throughline between the two flicks will be there in person in the form of Sky Elobar, star of both films. Elobar first became known to film freaks with his role in the pulpy midnight hit Strangler and plays Paul McCartney in the oddball film Ebony & Ivory, nominally about the making of the just-as-oddball 1982 collab between Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney of the same name.

But Ebony is also very much not about that recording, as the film devolves into a delightfully eccentric and surrealist Mighty Boosh-style non-buddy pic. Is this pairing “perfect harmony”? Find out for yourself.

As a bonus, Elobar will be aided and abetted by the titular “Greasy Strangler,” Michael St. Michaels. Trick or treat your damn self.

6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, Enzian Theater, 1300 S. Orlando Ave., Maitland, enzian.org, $20.
