PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Jacksonville University men’s golf finished its final tournament of the fall schedule strong, tying for fifth place overall at the weather-shortened Florida Atlantic Invitational at Panther National Golf Club.

The Dolphins posted rounds of 290 and 288 for a two-round total of 578 (+2), matching Stetson University for fifth in the 16-team field. Brandon Lohr set the pace for the Dolphins, tying for 10th place overall with a superb 3-under 141 (69-72). His consistent play was highlighted by a strong 3-under 69 in the opening round, keeping him immediately in contention for a top finish across the challenging two days. Lohr has had an outstanding start to his sophomore season, earning three top-10 finishes in the first four tournaments of the year.

Andrew Morgan delivered the team’s most dramatic performance, vaulting 24 spots up the leaderboard in the final round to finish tied for 25th at even-par 144. After an opening 76, Morgan carded a brilliant 4-under 68 on Tuesday, which was the lowest single-round score recorded by a Dolphin during the tournament.
