FORT MYERS, Fla. (WINK)—Southwest Florida International Airport set a historic monthly record in March with 1,521,149 passengers traveling through the facility.
The passenger count increased by 3.9% from March 2025 and marked the busiest March in the airport’s 43-year history. Year-to-date passenger traffic is up 1.9%.
Delta led all carriers with 289,910 passengers in March. Southwest followed with 282,966 passengers, while United carried 225,833 passengers.
American transported 214,941 passengers, and JetBlue rounded out the top five with 121,213 passengers. The airport recorded 12,577 aircraft operations in March; a 4.7% increase compared to the same month in 2025.
Page Field saw 17,350 operations, a 30% increase from March 2025. Southwest Florida International Airport served more than 11.1 million passengers in 2025 and ranks among the top 50 U.S. airports for passenger traffic.
The airport operates without using ad valorem property taxes for operations or construction.
