The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office released video Wednesday after arresting a 17-year-old who is accused of burglarizing a smoke shop.
At around 6:45 a.m. on April 17, deputies responded to a burglary at the Atomic Smoke Shop on West Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa. Surveillance video shows the moment the suspect “forcibly” entered the business after shattering the window.
Deputies say the teen stole nearly $5,000 worth of merchandise before leaving through the broken window with the items in a backpack.
The teen is now facing multiple felony charges.
