FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WINK)—Hundreds of Dolphins fans are gathering for draft night watch parties as the team holds two first-round picks.

The Dolphins are hosting two fan parties, one in Broward County and one in Miami-Dade. At The Wharf in Fort Lauderdale, staff spent the day setting the stage for a full draft night experience.

Crews built out a live panel setup where fans can hear analysis in real time. Others prepped food trucks, stocked the bars and got ready for a packed crowd.

For many fans, the connection to the team runs deep. Sotiri Athana, a Dolphins fan, described the passion of the fan base.

“It’s a passionate fan base. We’ve struggled for many years. We’ve had a couple down years prior to when Tua got there. Then we were kind of ascending, but it looks like we’re back to a rebuild,” Athana said. “It’s a rich history. But we’re diehard fans and we can’t get out of it. It’s a blessing and a curse.”

Fans said they’re not just there to watch the draft. They’re part of the moment as the Dolphins build what they hope is a contender.

The Dolphins enter round one with the 11th and 30th picks. They finished 2025 with a 7-10 record.
