GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) — On Thursday, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Amy Broadt of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., after the seizure of 6.6 pounds of cocaine during a traffic stop on I-10.

Just after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, a HCSO deputy stopped Broadt’s Nissan Altima around Mile Marker 36 on eastbound I-10 in Gulfport.
During the stop, a K-9 unit alerted on the vehicle, triggering a search by deputies and unveiling 6.6 pounds of cocaine being held in the trunk.
Broadt was booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. Her bond was set at $250,000. She is charged with aggravated trafficking.
Harrison County Narcotics is investigating the case.
