OXFORD, Ohio – Miami University head men’s basketball coach Travis Steele has announced that Rich Rolf will join his program and compete for the RedHawks in the 2026-27 season. Rolf makes his way to Oxford after spending three seasons with Charlotte and most recently playing one season for Youngstown State.

PRIOR TO MIAMI:


Competed in 31 games and made 30 starts during his redshirt junior season with Youngstown State, where he averaged 9.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks
Scored a career-high 22 points vs. Georgia Southern on Nov. 24, 2025
Totaled a career-best 10 rebounds on four separate occasions
He appeared in 30 games and made seven starts, as he averaged 17.2 minutes per game in 2024-25
Appeared in three games before suffering a season-ending injury in 2023-24
Redshirted in his first year at Charlotte during the 2022-23 season
Attended Centerville High School where he averaged 17.5 points per game as a senior to help the Elks to two consecutive Ohio state championship games, winning the title in 2022
