Tallahassee man indicted on more than 40 counts of false claims through fraudulent tax forms

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man was indicted in federal court for more than 40 counts of false claims against the United States through fraudulent federal tax forms, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida.

Specifically, 27-year-old Jonquaris Richardson was indicted on 46 counts of false claims, the attorney’s office wrote in a press release Friday.

If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison on each count, the statement revealed.

The 27-year-old’s jury trial is scheduled for June 15.
