As the night deepened, Cracker took the stage and turned up the heat. With a sound that feels like a great record you’ve loved for years, the band delivered a set that had the crowd fully locked in, singing, moving, and feeding off the energy in the air. Closing out the Patio, Keller Williams brought his unmistakable one-man jam-band magic, looping, building, and surprising the audience right to the end.
And for those who wanted something completely different, the Ballroom Silent Disco became its own universe. From 8 PM until late, dancers rotated between channels, headphones glowing, creating a surreal, joyful party that kept growing as the night went on.
Over at the Cantina Stage, the vibe stayed intimate but electric. Hex Appeal kicked things off with a gritty, high-energy set, followed by McKinley James, who brought bluesy guitar fire and serious stage presence. Tampa favorites Have Gun, Will Travel delivered their signature Florida storytelling sound, easy, honest, and deeply connected to the local crowd. Later, Betty Fox Band added soul and power, and Greg Roy closed the space with a smooth late-night groove.
Food trucks, art vendors, and friends filling every corner of the venue turned the night into more than a concert, it became a full celebration of Tampa Bay’s creative spirit.
By the end of the night, one thing was clear: Tropical Heatwave wasn’t just a festival, it was a shared experience, loud and quiet, wild and intimate, all at once.
And Tampa showed up for every minute of it. 🌴🔥
