City of Cape Coral is partnering with the Lee Building Industry Association to form a new Building Industry Committee aimed at improving coordination on development-related issues. The committee will focus on communication between the city and construction industry on permitting, inspections and development services, with its first meeting set for May 20. Members include Chair Justin Einstein of Aubuchon Homes; Ian Moore of Compass Construction; Annette Nilles of Nilles Design Group; Ian Schmoyer and Kevin Bellville of Christopher Alan Homes; Joe Preffer of Arnold Roberts Signature Homes; Jerod Engler of Curran Young Construction; and Nick Stewart of NPS Consulting.
