TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man is charged with kidnapping and attempted sexual battery after allegedly trying to sexually assault a 14-year-old girl.
Erick Sanudo allegedly attacked the victim while she was on her way home from school. Arrest documents show the victim was walking alone when Sanudo allegedly grabbed her from behind.
Arrest papers show the victim immediately began to fight Sanudo and scream, causing them to fall into a nearby bush. The victim told police she continued to fight him, including biting him.

The victim said he pulled her pants down and she told police Sanudo made statements during the alleged attack indicating he wanted to sexually batter her, according to arrest papers.
A bystander intervened and pulled Sanudo off the victim, according to arrest documents.
The bystander walked the victim home where she then called the police.

The victim was able to describe Sanudo to police and later identify him.
According to arrest documents, Sanudo described being high at the time of the incident and denied being in the area.
Sanudo was released from prison in January and was on probation for burglary, according to arrest papers. He is also charged with violation of probation.
Court records show he was denied bond on Friday.
