Miami, FL – A continuing undercover operation in Miami has resulted in additional arrests as investigators target individuals accused of attempting to exploit minors.
According to the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office and Miami Police, nine more suspects were taken into custody as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged sex trafficking activity involving underage victims.
The arrests bring the total number of individuals detained in the operation to 15.
Authorities say the investigation involved undercover officers posing online as a parent offering access to two underage girls, identified as ages 13 and 15.
Investigators allege the suspects responded to the arrangement and agreed to meet at a hotel in exchange for money.
When the individuals arrived at the location, they were taken into custody by officers conducting the operation.
Based on details from arrest reports, the suspects are facing charges related to human trafficking and solicitation involving minors.
Officials said those arrested come from a range of backgrounds, including individuals with professional and technical careers.
At least one juvenile was also taken into custody during the investigation.
The arrests occurred over multiple days as part of coordinated enforcement efforts.
Authorities say the operation was designed to identify individuals allegedly seeking illegal encounters with minors and prevent potential exploitation.
