TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Down Syndrome Foundation of Tallahassee is inviting the community to lace up their sneakers and join this year’s Buddy Walk, happening Saturday.
The annual event celebrates individuals with Down syndrome and promotes inclusion and acceptance across the Big Bend community. Families, friends, and supporters will take part in a fun-filled day featuring live entertainment, a medal ceremony, carnival games, and a community walk.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the foundation’s year-round initiatives, including educational support, advocacy, and family resources.
Registration is open now and participants can sign up individually or as part of a team.
For those interested, the event will take place at Pedrick Pond Park from 9 a.m. to noon.
