It’s been more than 50 years since a woman was found dead in Sumter County.

The sheriff’s office is expected to give an update on the case Wednesday morning. WESH 2 will stream the news conference in the player above.

The unidentified woman was found on Feb. 19th 1971, under the Lake Panasoffkee bridge.
